Course Curriculum

For the first two years after the university entrance exam, you will study at the Minami-Osawa campus, which is a lush and naturally beautiful campus. During your first year, lectures on mechatronics occur in parallel with lectures on liberal arts such as languages. Although the speed of the highly specialized content may be challenging, you will develop a solid foundation. In your second year, you will continue building fundamental knowledge while learning about measurement, analysis, and control techniques. Additionally, you will acquire basic skills necessary to become an engineer through practice of drafting, designing, and programming.

At the start of the third year, you will move to the Hino campus, which is where our departmental and division laboratories are located. As you learn about more specialized topics, it is important that you identify your aptitudes, interests, and future career path from a broad range of interdisciplinary fields because you must select a laboratory to join before your fourth year. During your fourth year, you will conduct a special research project and write a graduation thesis under the guidance of your laboratory advisor.curriculum
